Beginning her working career in Beauty Therapy and Reflexology, Lisa decided to branch into the world of Podiatry and gained her Podiatry degree in 2015 from the University of East London.
Once graduated, she joined the NHS where she dedicated 10 years to working within various roles across Essex, from Podiatry Assistant to Specialist Podiatrist. Her varying roles have allowed her to acquire an extensive knowledge base, experience in managing high-risk patients, and also mentoring of colleagues and students.
Alongside the standard requirements, she has continued to extend her scope of practice as a Podiatrist to develop her capabilities, completing courses in Acupuncture & Needling, Dermatology, an ‘Independent Prescribing’ module and an MSc in ‘Clinical Skin Integrity and Wound Management’ at the University of Hertfordshire, all while raising a young family, similarly to Sue.
After completing her MSc in 2023, Lisa joined our team of Podiatrists part-time alongside starting her role within the NHS Podiatric Surgery team. Within this NHS role she managed post-operative wound care, conducted pre-assessments and delivered treatments in preparation for foot and ankle surgery.
Lisa has always been ambitious to progress into a leadership role where she could combine her clinical knowledge and mentoring skills to support team development and maintain high standards of care for patients.
We are extremely honoured to welcome Lisa as our new Clinical Lead and are certain that, alongside providing fantastic treatment to all patients, she will bring a wealth of knowledge, guidance and support to our wonderful team.
If you wish to book in with Lisa, she will be regularly available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday.
